this week's challenge you must complete
for you to avail your prized cookie in pink

Its a Cake, no it's a Hamburger

There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple
So check this out once or twice over, because this cake resembles a hamburger!

Here's a close up shot:

and this is what it looks like inside:

The "burger patty" is made of chocolate cake covered with ganache, the "buns" are made of yellow cake covered in Mocha Buttercream Frosting and the "Lettuce" & "Cheese", made of homemade marshmallows. "Mayonnaise" is Merengue Frosting, and the "Ketchup", Red Glaze Icing.

Yummy.

So, do I get a pinky cookie

My 1st Pinky Cookies!

after deliberations by The Powers That Be
here's what the book has to say to the fairy wannabe:

nice try my dear fairy
your efforts have been fruity
and for that you may be granted your first pinky cookie!

but wait, your task is far from over
next you must bake a cake that resembles a hamburger!

oh that's an easy task, if I may say further
would you like some fries to go with that order?

a cocky fairy you seem to be
let's see of you get a perfect ten of a cookie!

Its a Watermelon!

 ***

Last week's post:

What type of fruit has babies in a red house,
a red house in a white house,
and a white house in a green house?

***

"It has been four days since the last assignment has been given
by now your submission must taste like heaven
for in that project we will see
if your work deserves a Pinky Cookie",
says the book of Sugary Confections

"bring it on", said the fairy wannabee
"for this week I present to you
a cake that looks like a watermelon!"

"here was my inspiration that's a work of art,
its the watermelon bombe by Martha Stewart!"

"Now that I have done my homework completely,
do  get my Pinky Cookie?"

"we'll see, we'll see my dear fairy
let us leave the judging to the Powers that Be."

So our dear aspiring fairy went to sleep
dreaming of more cake wishes for her to keep.

Fruity beginnings ...

Opening the big book of Sugary Confections for my first fairy training:

For this task you must bake
a list of food items but they must be made of cake!

your first challenge is quite easy
why they are so fruity
to find the answer you must read line after line
and submit your work after the fourth sunshine.

What type of fruit has babies in a red house,
a red house in a white house,
and a white house in a green house?

Wish upon a star ...

a.k.a. How to make wishes come true.

This is a story of a girl who once dreamed of one day becoming a Fairy CakeMother.
So she opened up the Book of Sugary Confections and read it from cover to cover.
Delighted she was flipping through the pages, and was amazed to learn of the following stages:

a good fairy cakemother you are meant to be
if only you finish these tasks one two and three
then you're fairy dreams will come true
and you can grant your cakedaughter's wishes as she lays them on to you

To make your fairy wishes come true, here's what you have to do:

1.) Dream

2.) Dream Big

3.) Wake Up

4.) Collect 1,000 Pinky Cookies

"But how am I to collect so may Pinky Cookies and still go back before bedtime?" says she.

reading the book again, it said:

5.) In times of set back, remember numbers 1, 2 & 3.

So off to a great journey she went.
Climbing through cake tiered mountains high, low and bent.
Who knows what great treasures she'll find?
As long as she doesn't lose her mind?
Perhaps a Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow?
Or a precious wedding under a gazebo?
Only time will tell what may be brought forth,
for now the clock runs tic-toc
